Andersson met with Finnish President Sauli Niinistö, who arrived in Stockholm, Sweden, for official talks. The two leaders then held a press conference.
Expressing that they attach importance to negotiating with Turkey for NATO, Andersson said, “We want Sweden to increase its cooperation with Turkey within NATO. Sweden, like NATO and the EU, stands behind the fight against all forms of terrorism. We are ready for dialogue with Turkey to discuss and resolve the current question marks.”
