Now another feature to be added to Communities has been revealed. The new feature was discovered by WABetaInfo in the beta version of the Android version of the app.
It will be possible to hide groups in communities
This feature, which has actually been tested for a while, is related to groups in communities. With the new tool, users will be able to hide groups from the main community. This will allow for improved privacy and control in communities.
Screenshots shared by WABetaInfo also reveal that the platform has added a new tool to this feature. Thanks to a “secret icon”, WhatsApp allows users who are members of those groups to quickly understand which groups are secret. This way, the user can be aware of the group while keeping the group’s activities private. It can also enable admins to keep more private groups out of public view. The company will also show which community a secret group chat belongs to on the chat info screen.
