What will the new iPad Pro offer?
The iPad Pro was last updated in 2022, when the 6th generation arrived. After 2 years, the company will finally bring us the new model. It is almost certain that we will see an OLED screen on the device. This will be a first on the iPad side. The OLED display will offer many advantages compared to LCD, from more brightness to lower power consumption. There are also rumors that Apple will use the best OLED displays on the market and will come with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
In addition, the iPad Pro will be equipped with a brand new Apple silicon chip. It was normally expected to come with the M3. However, claims over the last few weeks suggest that the company may use the new M4 chipset, which is rumored to be AI-focused. It remains to be seen which one will turn out to be true, but whichever chip is used, it will provide a big performance boost.
We think the device will come in two sizes, 11.1 and 12.9. It is also claimed that they will be thinner. The thickness of the smaller model is expected to drop from 5.9 mm to 5.1 mm, while the larger model is expected to drop from 6.4 mm to 5 mm. The 5th generation of iPad Air was introduced in 2022. In the 6th generation coming this year, we will see a brand new 12.9-inch size in addition to the 10.9-inch version. There will of course be changes on the processor side and performance will improve. The new iPad Air is rumored to use either an M2 or M3 chip. However, we can say that it is more likely to be M2. Although it does not offer as much improvement as the M3, this chip will ensure that the price does not increase. We are also likely to see innovations such as a relocated front camera above the screen, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
What’s new with Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil?
iPad models will be accompanied by new versions of Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard. We will see an important improvement in the model we expect to be called Apple Pencil 3. According to rumors, the device will come with haptic feedback. This means that it will be able to react similarly to gamepads.
