In preparation for a joint exercise organised by Russia and Belarus, which will last until February 9th, mixed troops and airborne units fired artillery and combat shots during today’s inspection of the Brestskiy range of The Union State response forces. Air force attack aircraft were also used in the drills.

Russian and Belarusian army units, which are under the supervision of the Unity State response forces, were provided with air support with Yak-130 and Su-25 aircraft.
Aerial reconnaissance was carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to carry out airstrikes on relative enemy facilities.

According to the targeting of the leading air watcher, yak-130 and Su-25 aircraft conducted airstrikes on relative enemy equipment and manpower with unguided aircraft missiles.

Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu and Belarusian Defence Minister Viktor Hrenin followed the combat training missions carried out at this stage of the exercise.
