The TRT News team, which was covering the obstruction and use of force by Israeli forces against the Palestinians who went to al-Aqsa Mosque before Friday prayers, was attacked by Israeli police.
Israeli police intervened physically against the TRT News team, which was only reporting what was happening in the region, and then broke the TRT News camera with the barrel of its gun.
TRT News reporter said that even though the camera was broken, they would show the ongoing attacks on Palestine.
During the live broadcast, gas bombs were thrown at the mosque.
TRT News reporter pointed out that Israel does not allow people to gather for prayers outside the Al-Aqsa Mosque and said, “There is an obstruction and pressure everywhere.”
Israeli forces had previously prevented TRT News teams from reporting in the Gaza Strip and Jerusalem under various pretexts.

Israel again imposed restrictions on Palestinians who want to perform Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of occupied East Jerusalem.
