According to Tesnim News Agency, Chalanderi said that about 1,000 flights were operated from the airport during Eid al-Fitr and there were no cancellations as mentioned.
“There has been information on social media that Lufthansa has cancelled its flights to Iran. Lufthansa has one or three flights cancelled in a pre-planned manner. Apart from this, there is no cancellation.”
The Iranian official noted that Lufthansa has been operating its scheduled flights to Iran since Sunday 7 April.
Lufthansa Airlines Spokesperson announced on 10 April that due to the current situation in the Middle East, the company has decided to suspend flights to and from Tehran until 11 April.
