Spokesman Miller emphasised that they are in contact with other countries, including Turkey, regarding the tension between Iran and Israel.

“Secretary Blinken has had a series of diplomatic meetings in the last 24 hours with his foreign counterparts, including Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal Bin Farhan, to make clear that escalation is in no one’s interest and that countries should urge Iran not to escalate,” Matthew Miller said.
