During Prince Harry’s recent visit to the UK to see his father, King Charles, following the shocking news of the monarch’s cancer diagnosis, Meghan Markle opted to stay behind in California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
Reports reveal that Prince Harry swiftly flew back to London upon learning of his father’s health condition, leaving Meghan, 42, to tend to their family in his absence.
Speculation arose regarding Meghan’s decision not to accompany her husband on his trip, prompting insights from a former Royal Family employee. Grant Harrold suggested that Meghan may have felt it was best for Harry to have some time alone with his father during this period.
“Meghan made the decision that it was best to stay home with the children, and maybe she feels that this is something Harry has got to do alone,” Harrold told the New York Post.
