President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan traveled to the capital Doha to attend the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup upon the invitation of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Temim bin Hamed Al Thani.
here was also a remarkable development during the visit. Erdoğan shook hands with Egyptian President Sisi in Qatar. This handshake was the highest level meeting between the two countries after 9 years.
