Russia has reportedly started purchasing artillery rounds from North Korea, according to a New York Times report based on US intelligence reports.

According to freshly declassified intelligence data, US officials confirmed the New York Times claim that Russia may continue to purchase military hardware from North Korea.

The US official who confirmed the allegation stated, “The Russian Defense Ministry is in the midst of purchasing millions of missiles and artillery shells from North Korea for deployment on the front lines in Ukraine.” The person claimed that Russia was running low on ammunition in the conflict and suggested that it might keep buying supplies from North Korea.
