Xiaomi Book S features and price!
Xiaomi Book S entered the market competitively in terms of features and price. With a price tag of 699 Euros, the device will be available for sale in Europe. If you want to use the device in laptop format with a keyboard, you have to pay 100 Euros more.
Let’s say that the Surface Pro series, which we show as its direct competitor, also has a starting price tag of 750 Euros. Of course, this amount can go up to 1,350 Euros as a result of the preferences made. However, the prices of the base models are quite close.
When we look at the hardware features of the device, let’s first say that it has a 12.4-inch screen. It offers a resolution of 2560×1600, i.e. 2K+. Using an IPS LCD panel, this screen can reach up to 500 nits brightness level. Although it is quite low compared to AMOLED screens, we cannot say that this is a minus since it is considered above the level that can be seen under the sun.
In addition, the Book S has 8 GB of RAM and 2 different storage options: 256 GB and 512 GB. However, it is possible to upgrade the available storage thanks to MicroSD memory card support. It also has a 5 Megapixel selfie camera and a 13 Megapixel main camera.
Of course, the most striking feature of this tablet is the ARM-based Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor. This chip, which is quite ambitious in terms of performance per watt, offers up to 60 percent lower power consumption than Intel and AMD competitors.
In this way, it is stated to offer up to 25 hours (several days) of battery life on a single charge. The Book S, however, uses a relatively small battery of 4,920 mAh and offers up to 13 hours of battery life. On the other hand, thanks to its 65W fast charging support, it can be fully charged in a very short time.
