Xiaomi continues its breakthroughs in the foldable phone market and will soon present the Mix Flip model to users. The Chinese brand aims to attract attention with its affordable price tag by adopting an inward-folding concept in this new phone.
Key specs of the foldable phone have been revealed by Digital Chat Station, a company known in the industry for leaks. The Mix Flip model comes with a dual camera setup that includes a 50 Megapixel primary camera and a telephoto sensor whose resolution has yet to be revealed. In addition, the phone’s foldable screen is touted as “zero crease”.
The smartphone will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship processor. Produced with 4 nm technology, this processor includes several cores and has an Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support.
In terms of design, the Xiaomi Mix Flip will have a design similar to other competing models in the industry. The rear panel will feature a horizontal triple camera setup and a cover screen whose dimensions are not yet known. On the front, a perforated design will stand out.
The device will offer 12 GB and 16 GB RAM options, while 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB options will be available on the storage side. The phone’s screen will be a 6.7-inch FHD+ resolution AMOLED panel. According to the claims, the Mix Flip model will be introduced towards the end of February.
