According to police, another shooting near a bar in Chattanooga, Tennessee, killed 3 people and injured 14.
In Saginaw region of Michigan, 3 people were killed and 2 people were injured in the shooting that took place earlier yesterday.
No suspects have been taken into custody because of the shootings.
According to data from the Gun Violence Archive, a non-profit research group, there have been 240 mass shootings in the country so far this year, described as “incidents in which at least four people have lost their lives.”
US President Joe Biden has called on Congress to ban semi-automatic weapons and high-capacity magazines and raise the age to buy weapons to 21.
