The Washington Post reported that Ukrainian intelligence moved government classified documents from Kiev to a secure area in the west of the country.
The Washington Post, citing an unnamed source, said Ukrainian intelligence had moved classified government documents and equipment from the capital Kiev to ‘safe locations’ in the west of the country.
“Ukrainian intelligence moved classified documents and equipment from its headquarters in the capital to safer locations in the west of the country,” the report said.
Kiev is preparing for the escalation of tensions, the newspaper said, while Western officials are beginning to worry about Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy’s recent calm demeanor and statements that ‘the situation on the Ukraine-Russian border is not more tense than before’.
