Under the hashtag #JeanMichelTrogneux, which swept the Francophone channel of Twitter, the conspiracy theory emerged that Brigitte, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, was a born male transgender. Journalist Natacha Rey wrote the claim in Faits et Documents magazine. Claiming that she has been researching Brigitte Macron’s past for 3 years, Rey says she has managed to obtain documents confirming that she was born a male, and that she will share this evidence, which is in a sealed envelope under the supervision of a lawyer, with the public if vaccination is mandatory in France.
According to Numerama, Rey gave a nearly four-hour interview to psychic Amandine Roy on YouTube on December 10 about this conspiracy theory. Before the video was deleted, it reached 470,000 views.
