“France condemns in the strongest terms the attack launched by Iran against Israel,” Sejourne said on his X account.
Stating that Iran has crossed a new threshold in its destabilization actions with this unprecedented step, Sejourne said that Iran is risking an escalation of military tension in the region.
Sejourne said France reaffirmed its commitment to Israel’s security and expressed its solidarity with the country.
The Israeli army announced yesterday evening that Iran had launched a drone attack and that the Israeli air and naval forces were tracking the drones.
Iran also announced the launch of a comprehensive attack on Israel with drones.
“The Revolutionary Guards Army launched a drone operation against targets in the occupied territories a few minutes ago,” Iranian state television reported.
