Sejourne discussed humanitarian aid to Gaza in a joint broadcast of French radio RFI and France 24.

Sejourne called for the opening of crossing points in the north and south of the Gaza Strip to allow the delivery of humanitarian aid, stressing that hundreds of aid trucks should pass through the area.

French Foreign Minister Sejourne stated that steps could be taken against Israel, including pressure and sanctions, in order to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Sejourne pointed out that France was the first country to propose European sanctions against illegal Jewish settlers in the West Bank who have committed violence against Palestinians, and said that they will continue to do so if necessary to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches Gaza.

Sejourne emphasized that they are in favor of a two-state solution to the Palestinian issue and stated that his country will continue to be a “friend of Israel”.
