President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made important statements at the joint press conference held after the bilateral and delegation talks with Egyptian President Abdulfettah al-Sisi.
The two leaders signed the Joint Declaration on the Restructuring of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council Meetings. In his speech after the signing ceremony, Erdoğan stated that he invited Egyptian President Sisi to Ankara.

Emphasizing that Egypt has made significant investments in the field of defense, Erdoğan expressed his belief that the two countries will develop joint projects by joining forces. He also added that they agreed to increase the trade volume to 15 billion dollars.
