According to the information received from security sources, CIA Director Burns called MIT Director Kalın on Eid and asked him to be a mediator in the Iran-Israel tension.
CIA Director William Burns called Ibrahim Kalın, the head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT), on Eid and asked him to be a mediator regarding Iran’s alleged attacks on Israel.
Kalın and Burns also exchanged views on the Gaza ceasefire negotiations.
Following his meeting with his US counterpart, Kalın held a meeting with Hamas.
