Dog defecating in the aisle of an airplane forced emergency landing

A United Airlines plane was forced to land at another airport after a dog couldn’t take it anymore and defecated in the aisle of the plane.

Business Insider reported that the 4-legged passenger was traveling in the cabin with other passengers on the Houston-Seattle flight, causing an unexpected landing in Dallas after the pet defecated in the aisle.

Flight Radar, the online flight tracking system, shows that a United Airlines flight from Houston to Seattle on Friday changed direction towards Dallas.

The incident was first discussed among users on Reddit, but United Airlines confirmed to Business Insider that the incident took place.

One user said the dog “pooped its pants” in the first class section of the plane, which caused the plane to divert towards Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

The user claimed that the ground staff spent more than two hours cleaning up the feces.

The user also stated that the toilet in first class was rendered unusable after the incident and suggested that due to the time spent on the ground, the food on board had spoiled, leaving them with only a few snacks.

However, the user also said that the smell “never goes away”, so some passengers may not have had much of an appetite.

United Airlines has a number of rules and regulations that passengers planning to fly with their pet cats or dogs must follow.

United Airlines’ website states that all pets, except guide animals, must remain in their carrying cases with the door closed and under your seat at all times during the flight.

There are extra fees for including your furry friends on the flight and you are not allowed to fly with your pet to all destinations.

Just last month, on another United Airlines flight, a shivava caused a huge mess after defecating on the seats and the floor.

Found on February 5 on a flight to Portland, the dog was inside the carry-on bag for most of the flight, but the owner allegedly took him out when he became restless.

In this case, cabin crew were able to clean up the mess and there was no need for an emergency landing.

Some passengers sitting in the immediate vicinity of the defecating dog were given travel vouchers after the incident.
