Haniyeh confirmed in a statement that his sons and grandsons were martyred in the Israeli attack, naming them Hazem, Amir and Mohammed. “With this pain and blood, we are building hope, future and freedom for our people, our cause and our nation,” Haniyeh said.
Haniyeh emphasized that what Israel could not achieve through death, destruction and annihilation, it will not achieve in negotiations and said, “If the enemy thinks that by killing my sons we will change our position, it is delusional.”
Haniyeh also stated that 60 family members have lost their lives in the Israeli attacks and said, “We have seen everything violated in Gaza. There is a war of ethnic cleansing and genocide. There is mass displacement.”
