According to the news on the American Politico website, Warren said regarding the ongoing “genocide” case at the ICJ, “If you apply this to the law, I believe that they will define this situation as genocide and they have a lot of material for this.”
According to the report, Warren’s speech, which she delivered on Friday at a meeting at the Islamic Center of Boston in the Wayland neighborhood, resonated on social media after a video of it was shared on Monday.
The US senator’s press office clarified that Warren was making her personal legal assessment of the ongoing case at the ICJ, not “whether Israel committed genocide.”
