According to Iranian state television, Sistan-Baluchestan Deputy Governor Ali Reza Merhamati said, “A few minutes ago, terrorist attacks were carried out on military headquarters in Rask and Chabahar. The situation is under control and detailed information on the issue will be announced later.”
Merhamati later told state television that three Iranian security officials were killed in clashes that erupted in response to the attacks.
According to the country’s media, clashes between security forces and members of the organization continue.
The Jaish al Adl organization claimed responsibility for the attacks on its social media accounts.
“Jaish al-Adl”, which is considered a terrorist organization in Iran, claims that it “defends the rights of the Sunni Baluch people” and carries out armed actions against Iran from time to time in Sistan-Baluchistan province in the southeast of the country, bordering Pakistan.
