The Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Turkic States will take place today in Beştepe. The earthquakes in Turkey will be the top agenda of the summit. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with the presidents of the member states of the organization before the summit.

President Erdoğan met with the Presidents of some member states of the organization.

The first guest of Erdoğan was President of Uzbekistan Shevket Mirziyoyev.

President Erdoğan also met separately with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan.

The guest presidents wished Erdoğan ‘get well soon’ due to the earthquakes in Turkey. During the meetings, bilateral relations and regional issues were discussed and the issues on the agenda of the Organization of Turkic States Summit were evaluated.

The Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Turkic States will take place in Beştepe with the participation of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Uzbekistan in addition to Turkey.

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Turkmenistan and Hungary will also take part in the summit as observer countries.
