US President Joe Biden stated that his policies are more popular than he is and said, “This is not the time to go backwards.”
Biden spoke about efforts to lower prescription drug prices in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Saying that they finally won their decades-long struggle against big pharmaceutical companies, Biden gave the example of some companies lowering drug prices.

Biden praised Medicare policies, the federal health insurance for people aged 65 and over, noting that seniors can get free vaccinations.
Stating that Americans support policies within this scope, Biden said, “If you look at the polling data, you see that what we propose is overwhelmingly popular. In fact, (my policies) are much more popular than me.”
Biden said, “This is not the time to go backwards,” noting that they still have a lot of work to do.
