Palestine reacted to the raid by Israeli forces on the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, in which 10 Palestinians were killed and 102 wounded.
Palestinian Presidential Spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeyne condemned “the ongoing attack by the occupation forces on Nablus” in a statement published by the official Palestinian agency WAFA.
He called on the US administration to take urgent action and actively pressure the Israeli government to stop the ongoing attacks and crimes against the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian official said that the Israeli government bears responsibility for the dangerous tension in the region, adding:
“Today’s crime committed by the occupation forces in Nablus reaffirms the importance of our demand for urgent action by the international community to stop Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, their land and their holy sites, as well as Israeli unilateral actions.”

Foreign Ministry condemns
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry also condemned the Israeli army attacks in the region.
In a written statement issued by the ministry, it was emphasized that “the crimes of the Israeli occupation forces are condemned” and that “these bloody attacks and organized state terrorism will escalate tensions in the region.”
“The crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces will be pursued at all levels, including the United Nations and competent international courts,” the statement added.
Reaction from Hamas
“The resistance fighters in the Gaza Strip are following the enemy’s crimes against our people in the occupied West Bank and their patience is running out,” Abu Ubaidah, spokesman for Hamas’ military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, said in a written statement.
Islamic Jihad Movement
Islamic Jihad Movement spokesperson Dawoud Shihab said in a statement, “Israel is triggering war with its attack on Nablus. This shows how indifferent the enemy is to political moves and agreements.”
Shihab warned that “the war that will result from the continuation of these attacks will end the tranquility,” adding that the Palestinian resistance “will exercise its right to respond.”
