for the Earth’s surface. The Surface, Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) satellite is being launched into space by a SpaceX rocket.
With the project, NASA is sending a satellite into space for the first time to study water resources around the world.

The launch is taking place from the Vandenberg base in Los Angeles. The launch had been postponed twice before due to weather conditions.

The satellite will determine the levels of water resources with microwave radar technology.

The data, which will be collected at least twice in 21 days, will help in areas such as improving climate predictions and managing freshwater resources.

Thus, the consequences of climate change will be more clearly demonstrated.

The project is expected to take at least 3 years
