The loss of life in the 5.6-magnitude earthquake in the Cianjur region of Indonesia’s West Java province has exceeded 100. West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil said in a statement that the number of people who lost their lives in the earthquake rose to 162.
In the earthquake that injured more than 700 people in West Java, more than 13 thousand people were displaced and more than 2 thousand 200 houses were damaged. While search and rescue efforts continue, it is stated that the number of casualties and injured may increase.
