After Europe and America, iPhone 13 sales in the Asian market also managed to exceed expectations.
Huawei’s gradual downsizing after the US embargo has left a huge gap in the Chinese market. Although brands such as Honor, OPPO and OnePlus filled this gap at first, interest in iPhone has unexpectedly increased day by day. Now, Apple is seeing record demand for all its devices, especially iPhone 13 sales, in the Chinese market.

Apple has turned the Chinese market upside down with iPhone 13 sales!
According to the latest reports, iPhone 13 sales in the Asian region have skyrocketed. There is even a 200 percent increase in the Chinese market on an annual basis. When we look at June specifically, we encounter a much higher increase of 227 percent.
Of course, this situation draws attention from 2 different angles. First of all, the top-selling brands of the market such as Apple and Samsung have released fewer phones this year due to reasons such as the pandemic, global inflation and the chip crisis. In fact, it is known that these two companies alone produced 50 million fewer devices.
But despite this, Apple has managed to increase its sales in the Chinese market many times over. In other words, the Asian market, not Europe and America, now takes the biggest slice of the pie. The second remarkable reason is the gap in the market in the last 3 years.
Following the embargo and trade bans imposed on Huawei by the US, the company went through a historic downsizing in smartphone production. While its market share once reached 30 percent, it can no longer exceed 5 percent.
Other Chinese companies such as Honor, OPPO, OnePlus and Vivo have taken up the slack. Of course, this was the case not only in Asia but also in the European and American markets. However, it seems that the cards are being redistributed due to the growing interest in Apple.
According to the relevant report, the interest that started with the iPhone 11 series continued to increase in the new generations. It reached its peak after the iPhone 13 was introduced. In fact, while smartphone shipments decreased by 12 percent due to shutdowns during the pandemic period, Apple shipped 25 percent more.
