The suit worn by US astronaut Buzz Aldrin during his mission to land on the Moon in 1969 is up for auction.

According to sale organizer Sotheby’s, the suit worn by 92-year-old Aldrin on the Apollo 11 mission is expected to fetch up to $2 million, CNN reported. The suits worn by Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins during the moon landing are at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington.

Sotheby’s “Buzz Aldrin: American Icon” sale will take place on July 26. Buzz Aldrin’s moon walk photograph was sold at auction for 7,700 dollars.
