According to Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency, the 6.1-magnitude earthquake, whose epicenter was around Bandar Hemir and Bandar Lenge cities in Hormuzgan province, was recorded at 02:02 local time.
It was reported that 3 people lost their lives and 19 people were injured in the earthquake.Apart from Sayehoush, serious damage was also reported in Konh, Dejgan and Chah Ahmed regions.
It was stated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
It was reported that 15 aftershocks occurred after the first earthquake, two of which were 6.1 and 6.3 magnitude one minute apart.
The earthquake was also felt in Bandar Abbas, the administrative center of Hormuzgan province, and people took to the streets.
