As the war in Ukraine continues to take lives, a flash call came from the Kremlin to Kiev. Announcing its only condition for a ceasefire, Kremlin sent a message to Ukraine to ‘make a decision before the end of today’.
The war, which started on the morning of February 24 with the order of Russian President Putin, continues at full speed in eastern Ukraine.

While Russian troops continue to advance, Ukraine continues to lose positions in the Donbas regions.
Although Kiev characterizes this withdrawal as ‘tactical’, it has been voiced loudly for some time that the wind in the war is turning from Russia.
As the Russian advance in Donbas continues, a flash call came from the Kremlin to Ukraine.
Kremlin Spokesperson Peskov underlined that there is only one condition for the Russian attacks to stop.
Peskov said that Russia will stop its attacks as soon as Ukraine surrenders and called on Kiev to order its troops to lay down their arms.
‘The Ukrainian side can stop everything before the end of today,’ Peskov told reporters.
Kiev must fulfill a list of Moscow’s demands, the Kremlin spokesman added.
WHAT ARE RUSSIA’S CONDITIONS?
According to Western media, citing Kremlin sources, Moscow has six conditions for an end to the war in Ukraine.
Russia says Ukraine should not join NATO and should maintain its neutrality. Moscow demands that Crimea, which was occupied in 2014, be recognized as part of Russia and wants the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics to be granted independence.
Moscow says Ukraine should be cleared of weapons that pose a threat to Russia and wants Russian to be recognized as a second language in Ukraine.
Russia also demands the abolition of laws prohibiting the use of Russian.
ZELENSKY HAD SAID ‘GIVING LAND IS OUT OF THE QUESTION’
While Russia continues to press for Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk, Ukraine is not backing down on these regions.
Ukrainian President Zelensky has stated that for peace talks to succeed, Russia must return to the territories it held before the invasion and that this is a ‘red line’ for Ukraine.
In his previous speeches, the Ukrainian leader has repeatedly stated that ‘giving territory to Russia is out of the question’.
