According to the plan, the Turkish Armed Forces will be responsible for clearing mines in the coastal area of Odessa.

The grain-laden ships will be accompanied by Turkish ships from Odessa to neutral waters in the Black Sea, and from there to the Bosphorus, Russian warships. According to the so-called ‘Turkish plan’, the grains will be distributed through Istanbul. The roadmap is expected to be on the agenda on June 8-9 during Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s visit to Turkey. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the grain issue would also be discussed during Lavrov’s visit to Ankara.

IT WILL HAVE INTERNATIONAL LEGITIMACY
It was stated that the agreement to be made will be supervised by the representatives of the United Nations and that the officials of Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and UN will meet in Istanbul.

More than 20 million tons of grain are waiting in Ukrainian ports and warehouses. According to the United Nations, 2 billion people could face hunger if Ukrainian grain could not be distributed around the world.
