Putin's next goal has been cleared

As the war in Ukraine continues to take lives, the Kremlin-controlled television channel issued an ultimatum-like warning. Vladimir Avatko of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who gave an opinion in the broadcast, emphasized the West’s military assistance to Ukraine and therefore stated that one more country could be targeted.

Putin's next goal has been cleared

The war, which began on February 24 on the orders of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has recently intensified in the eastern regions of Ukraine.

While the defense of the country by the Ukrainian troops continued, statements came from Russia that raised the world to its feet.

The program broadcast on Rossiya-1, which is controlled by the Kremlin, explained Russia’s goal after Ukraine.

According to a report in the Daily Beast titled “Kremlin TV names the country Putin’s next target,” Russian journalists said arms aid to Ukraine justified the attack and pointed to Poland, Ukraine’s border neighbor.

Poland, located in the west of Ukraine, is the main base of aid to Ukraine due to its NATO membership.

Vladimir Avatko of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “We need to remember Putin’s words. Anyone who tries to interfere in a special military operation will pay a heavy price.”

Avatko’s remarks were interpreted as a clear threat to Poland.

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, Putin’s biggest supporter in the war, recently threatened Poland in retaliation for its support for Ukraine during the invasion.

Kadyrov addressed Poland and said, “We will show you what we can do in six seconds.”

Many experts say Russia’s direct targeting of Poland would change the course of the war. NATO has repeatedly said it will take action if Russia attacks a member state of the union.

Kremlin-aligned figures have repeatedly threatened Poland before.

NATO warned us that this was our red line… Putin’s next goal has been determined.

For this reason, NATO, which is reinforcing the unity countries in the region, especially Poland, is strengthening its eastern flank against the ‘worst possibility’.

Not only NATO, but also the United States is providing considerable military support to the region. Poland has been the main destination for U.S. troops arriving in Eastern Europe since January.

After Washington sent 2,000 troops to Poland and Germany in early February, the 101st Infantry Division was formed. He deployed 3,000 additional troops to Poland, including the Airborne Division.
