Russia’s Duma parliament has announced that it will discuss the recruitment of persons over the age of 40 and foreigners over the age of 30 to join the army.
A statement on the parliament’s website said: “Experts are needed to use high-precision weapons and weapons and military equipment. It is fixed by experience that those who specialize in this field are between the ages of 40-45.”

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the surrender of about 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers at the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol.
The statement was reported in the TASS news agency.
