Russia’s Duma parliament has announced that it will discuss the recruitment of persons over the age of 40 and foreigners over the age of 30 to join the army.
A statement on the parliament’s website said: “Experts are needed to use high-precision weapons and weapons and military equipment. It is fixed by experience that those who specialize in this field are between the ages of 40-45.”

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the surrender of about 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers at the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol.
The statement was reported in the TASS news agency.
Reuters was unable to confirm the report.
Although Moscow and Kiev gave different explanations for the number of soldiers, hundreds of Ukrainian fighters in the labyrinth of bunkers and tunnels under the factory surrendered.
