Twitter has decided not to run ads denying climate change.

Social media platform Twitter has announced it will not allow ads that reject scientific data on climate change.

Twitter posted the statement on its blog. “We will prevent climate change denial from making money via Twitter. Ads that do not reflect reality should not overshadow the important debates about the climate crisis.”

Google and Pinterest have taken similar steps before. Google announced last year that it was banning ads denying climate change.
