Of the 55 teams that will compete in the European Qualifiers, 13 teams that have passed the qualifiers will be able to get a visa for the World Cup. The 10 teams that finish first in their group in the qualifiers will receive direct World Cup visa. The 10 group runners-up will play in the play-off round matches with the participation of two teams with the best rankings in the UEFA Nations League.
