In a written statement made by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated that the travel advisory is red, while the travel advisory is orange for the Israel-Gaza border and the areas of Israel outside the borders of Egypt, Lebanon and Syria.
The statement said that despite the code orange, which normally means that emergency travel is possible, it is recommended to postpone emergency travel to Israel due to the “current situation”.
The security situation in Israel is unpredictable due to the tension between Iran and Israel, the statement said, noting that rocket, drone and mortar attacks have been carried out in and around Gaza and in the area between Israel and Lebanon.
