A person threatened to blow himself up at the Iranian Embassy in Paris. The person who made the threat was detained by the police.
According to security sources speaking to Reuters, a man entered the embassy at around 11:00 a.m. local time wearing a vest believed to be loaded with explosives.
According to French media, the attacker threatened to blow himself up inside the embassy. A police cordon was set up around the embassy and special forces were mobilized to ensure security. Police sources reported that the attacker was arrested at around 14.30 local time. He was searched after the arrest and found not to be carrying any explosives.
