Elon Musk, owner of SpaceX, Tesla and X (Twitter) and the second richest person in the world, threatened OpenAI, the founder of the artificial intelligence bot ChatGPT.
Musk, who sued the company last week, said he would drop the lawsuit on one condition.
Musk’s condition is to change the name of the company from OpenAI to ClosedAI.
In a post on the X platform, Musk stated that he would drop the lawsuit if the company was renamed ClosedAI.
Elon also shared a montage photo of OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman holding an ID badge that reads ClosedAI.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Musk has stated that he thinks they betrayed the agreement to develop the AI company for the benefit of humanity rather than profit from its inception.
Musk had sued the company’s CEO Sam Altman, saying, “He is working to maximize Microsoft’s profits rather than for the benefit of humanity.”
THEY PUBLISHED MUSK’S EMAIL CORRESPONDENCE
After the lawsuit, OpenAI executives did not delay in responding to Musk.
While it is claimed that Musk was angry that he could not make OpenAI a part of Tesla and filed this lawsuit, OpenAI stated in its post that Musk also pursued a profit-oriented policy while he was a manager.
OpenAI also published an email in which Elon Musk told company executives that they urgently needed to raise $1 billion in investment.
