The International Russophilia Movement, founded last year in April 2023 at the Pushkin Palace in Moscow, will hold its general congress in Moscow on February 26-27, 2024.
A delegation from Turkey headed by Ünver Sel, one of the founders of the International Russophilia Movement, will attend the congress. The delegation includes Ilber Vasfi Sel, International Relations and Russia Expert, Secretary General of the Crimean Development Foundation, Prof. Dr. Saynur Giray Derman, Marmara University Faculty Member, Political Science and International Relations Expert, Hüdai Sadık Ekinci, Lawyer and Board Member of the International Friends of Crimea Association, and Businessman Özgür Yanık.
What is the International Russophilia Movement?
The International Russophilia Movement is a movement against Russophobia, Russophobia, Russophobia and Russian embargoes against Russian peoples and Russia in the world. The leader of the movement is Nikolay Malinov, a prominent Bulgarian politician and statesman. Malinov founded the movement first in Sofia and later internationalized it with the support of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Goals of the Movement
Nikolay Malinov, the founding leader of the movement, describes the main idea of its goals as “Rusophilia: Russia in our hearts”. After the general congress to be held at the beginning of next week, the movement is preparing for a wide range of activities and expansions around the world.
Congress Program
The opening speech of the General Congress in Moscow will be delivered by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The Congress sessions include sessions on the Islamic World, the Global South, China and India, the Western World and Latin America. There will also be discussions on Repatriation of Citizens, Family Values and the Cultural Elimination of LGBT, Information and Hybrid Wars.
Participants
In addition to international participants, the International Congress of Rusophilia is expected to be attended by many high-level and well-known personalities from within Russia. The biggest surprise of the Congress may be the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
