Auto giant recalls 750,114 vehicles

Japan-based automaker Honda has reportedly recalled 750,114 vehicles in the US due to a problem with airbags.

In the statement of the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), it was stated that the decision covers some Honda Accord, Pilot and Civic models produced between 2020 and 2022, and some Honda CR-V and Passport vehicles produced between 2020 and 2021.

The statement said 750,114 vehicles were recalled due to a problem with the airbag.

US automaker General Motors (GM) also reportedly recalled 323,232 vehicles due to a problem with the trunk lid.

The NHTSA statement said the recall covers the Chevrolet Silverado 2500, 3500, GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 models.
