The United States has initiated airstrikes in Syria in retaliation for a drone strike in Jordan that resulted in the tragic death of three American soldiers, according to reports.
These airstrikes occurred nearly a week after Iran-backed militias targeted the Tower 22 base near Jordan’s border with Syria and Iraq.
President Joe Biden participated in the dignified transfer ceremony for the three fallen troops earlier on Friday at Dover Air Force Base.
Both ABC and Fox News have confirmed the commencement of the airstrikes.
