In Italy, which has been added to the list of countries protesting against the EU’s agricultural policies, in particular the “Green Deal” program, farmers continued their protests today with their tractors in some cities and on roads.
Farmers parked their tractors on the side of the road at Melegnano, at the entrance to Milan on the A1 highway, the country’s north-south artery, and hung Italian flags and banners reading “No farmers, no food” and “We are ready to block the whole of Europe” on their vehicles.

Farmers in action in Europe
Farmers in many EU countries, particularly in Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Belgium, Poland, Italy and Hungary, are not satisfied with recent agricultural policies.
In most European countries, farmers are organizing protests with their tractors to draw attention to their hardships.
EU farmers are heavily critical of the Union’s agricultural policies, nature restoration targets, subsidy cuts, high energy, fuel and fertilizer costs as a result of the Russia-Ukraine war, cheap grain from Ukraine and water conservation measures.
Farmers criticize the EU for “making agricultural production more difficult by imposing strict rules on the use of carbon fertilizers and pesticides under the Green Deal”.
