101-Year-Old Woman Reveals Flaw in Airline's System

In the US, a 101-year-old woman named Patricia discovered that American Airlines’ system was unable to detect people beyond a certain age.

All programs in the world, from the simplest to the most advanced, have certain parameters and they act according to these parameters. But what happens if one day you somehow manage to go outside the parameters? In the case of 101-year-old Patricia and American Airlines, there are plenty of surprises.

A woman, who did not want to give her last name but gave her first name as Patricia, has been traveling by airline for many years. American Airlines’ system, however, apparently does not recognize that a person was born in 1922 and sees Patricia as a 1-year-old baby, even though she bought an adult ticket.

Airline employees are also surprised

Patricia also mentions some interesting incidents she has experienced so far. The centuries-old sycamore says that she was once mistaken for a baby and was not given an airport transfer because the staff expected her to be “a baby to be carried on their laps”.

Patricia, a former nurse, says she traveled alone until she was 97, but now travels with her daughter because of eye disorders. The airline’s systems, however, still cannot believe that there can be a person over 100 years old and continue to give her birth year as 2022.

There is no statement from American Airlines on the subject.
