The protocol on Sweden’s accession to NATO was discussed in the General Assembly.

287 MPs voted ‘yes’ and 55 voted ‘no’ in the vote, which resulted in Turkey’s permission for Sweden to become a member of NATO.

Following the decision of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, the law on the approval of the ratification of Sweden’s accession protocol to NATO was published in the repeated issue of the Official Gazette.
