Putin and Reisi met: Israel's aggression is a problem for all humanity

Iranian President Ibrahim Reisi described Israel’s attacks in Palestine as “genocide and a crime against humanity” and said, “According to statistics, 1 child dies every 10 minutes in Israel’s attacks. The bombing must stop immediately. Today, this issue is not only the problem of our region, it is the problem of all humanity. Therefore, a solution must be found very quickly.”

Stating that unilateral measures and the global unjust system are the scourge of humanity, Reisi said, “We see a clear manifestation of this in the events in Gaza today. What is happening in Palestine and Gaza is of course genocide and a crime against humanity. In fact, it should be noted that the killing of more than 6 thousand children by the Zionist regime is extremely regrettable.”

Emphasizing that it is sad that the US and Western countries support all these crimes, Reisi said, “What is even sadder is that the effectiveness of international organizations and organizations that are supposed to protect human rights is decreasing, and this is happening in front of the eyes of the whole world public opinion.”

Noting that he wanted to discuss the Palestinian issue and the problems of the oppressed but capable Palestinian people during the meeting, Reisi said, “According to statistics, 1 child dies every 10 minutes. The bombing must be stopped immediately. Today, this issue is not only the problem of our region, it is the problem of all humanity. Therefore, a very quick solution must be found.”

Putin: “Trade volume with Iran increased last year”

Noting that relations between Russia and Iran are developing very well, Russian President Putin said that the trade volume between the two countries increased by 20 percent last year and exceeded 5 billion dollars.

Pointing out that there are major infrastructure projects between the countries, Putin noted that the construction of the North-South railroad has now been completed. Putin stated that they are also working in the field of energy and education.

Putin also said that they would exchange views on the situation in Palestine.

Stating that he will respond to Reisi’s invitation to Iran, Putin said that they plan to sign an agreement on the establishment of a free trade zone between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union in the last days of December.
