Police in Burlingtong, Vermont, USA, announced that they received a report of an armed attack yesterday evening and found 3 university students wounded at the scene. It was reported that the students were taken under treatment at Vermont Medical Hospital and that they were not in life-threatening condition.

Ambassador Husam Zomlot, Head of the Palestinian Mission in the UK, announced on his social media account that the names of the students were Hisham Awartani, Kinnan Abdel Hamid and Tahseen Ahmed.

Zomlot argued that the students were targeted on their way back from dinner because they were wearing Palestinian keffiyehs and called for a stop to these hate crimes against Palestinians.
