Publish your own game on the Epic Games store
According to the announcement made by Epic Games, the previous practice of moderating and publishing games is coming to an end. Developers will be able to publish their games directly to the store.
The system, which is out of beta, requires developers to pay $100 per game and meet certain requirements. These include no discriminatory, adult-oriented, or illegal content, compatibility with versions on all other PC stores, including achievements on Epic Games if they are available on other stores, explaining age restrictions, and being of a certain quality.
Epic Games takes a 12 percent profit share from game sales. If the developer uses a different in-game payment system, they don’t get a cut. The new game publishing system is expected to especially affect independent studios.
