Season 2 of Loki will include Kate Dickie from Game of Thrones

According to Deadline, Game of Thrones veteran Kate Dickie has been cast in the forthcoming second season of Marvel Studios’ Loki, with Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino.

Dickie’s role is likely to appear as a villain, however more details are being withheld. The highly anticipated second chapter of the Disney+ series has also been completed, according to the publication.

Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Loki Season 1 saw the return of the God of Mischief after he was incarcerated by the Time Variance Authority for causing temporal harm. Season 2 is directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who were previously responsible for the Moon Knight series. Kate Herron, who will stay on the project as producer, will be replaced by the pair.

Sophia Di Martino plays Sylvie, Owen Wilson plays Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw plays Judge Renslayer, and Wunmi Mosaku plays Hunter B-15. Wilson and Mbatha-Raw have already been confirmed to return for the upcoming season.

Eric Martin is the show’s lead writer and executive producer for Season 2. Martin, Hiddleston, and Season 1 head writer Michael Waldron will executive produce the new episode.
